What Remains is an independent photography book publisher founded by New York City based photographers Ebru Yıldız and Mitchell King. With our love for photography on the printed page and our years of combined experience in self-publishing and pre-press, we have long had the desire to start our own imprint to share the work of photographers that we love. There are so many inspiring independent publishers that we admire - publishers that continue to elevate the art of the photography book - and we are excited for the opportunity to add our voice to the conversation.
